It is true that Wikipedia has a systemic bias towards topics of interest to computer literate people from industrialized Anglophone countries, which is a result of this being a disproportionately large portion of its editor base, compared to the world population. The Main Page reflects the bias of Wikipedia as a whole, though people tend to overlook biases that they share.
